Jermayne Tuckta from Warm Springs on Revitalizing Ichishkin

Jermayne grew up on the Warm Springs reservation and learned the tribal traditional ways and continues to carry on today. He has worked at #MuseumatWarmSprings in the #Archives department. He has worked on culture education and teaches his heritage language, #Ichishkin, to community classes and high school level. He is currently enrolled @uoregon pursuing a #Masters in #linguistics. He hopes to use his community work and education to revitalize his language. 

In this story, we discuss pre treaty of Warm Springs, reasons for the treaty, and current day happenings around language revitalization.
